From Riga to Leather
I’m from a small European country — Latvia — and I spent my childhood and teenage years roaming the streets of Riga. Growing up, I was fascinated by alternative rock cultures. But back in the early 2000s, rock-style leather accessories weren’t popular in my country, and the few that existed were low quality or just didn’t feel right.
Years later, I found myself in an office job. While stable, it quickly became clear that office work wasn’t for me. I’ve always been a creative person, and sitting behind a desk doing repetitive tasks just didn’t fit who I am.
The First Bracelet (and a lot of mistakes 😄)
One day, I remembered my childhood dream. I decided to try making a leather bracelet for myself. My first attempt… let’s just say it was far from perfect 😄. But that little bracelet sparked something in me.
Friends and acquaintances started asking me to make leather accessories for them, and slowly, I realized I could turn my passion into a craft. I began sharing my creations online, testing designs, and learning everything about handmade leather work.
